The Center for the History of Medicine invites you to learn more about the history of medicine and engage with our collections in unique ways through rotating exhibits and special events.
Staff at the Center for the History of Medicine highlight collections through a program of exhibits - both physical and digital. To view our online exhibits, visit our OnView Exhibits page. Exhibits at the Countway are mounted in the lobby display area on the L2 level as well as in the Lucretia McClure gallery next to the front entrance of the library on the first floor. More information about the Warren Museum Exhibition Gallery on the fifth floor of the Countway Library can be found here. All exhibits are open to the public Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. Those wishing to see the current exhibit need only present a valid photo-ID at the front desk of the Countway and sign the guest register. Special tours of the exhibits may be arranged by calling 617.432.2170.
The Center is also proud to host a wide array of special events and lectures throughout the year. For information on our upcoming events, check out our Exhibits and Events Calendar or browse the "Exhibits and Events" tag at CHoM News.
We look forward to your visit!
