The richness of the Boston Medical Library collections is
a result of the dedication of the founders and members. The
Fellows of the BML form a community of those interested in
access to our many resources, both print and electronic formats,
databases and web sites, a knowledge laboratory and one of
the finest historical collections in existence. As a result
of collection efforts that span two centuries, the Boston
Medical Library's Center for the History of Medicine is home
to medieval and Renaissance manuscripts and incunabula, historical
works and Ephemera, medical instruments, prints and photographs,
and a wealth of original papers and correspondence of notable
physicians and scientists.
You can become a member of this prestigious physicians' library
and help support an American Institution that has been educating
the medical community for over 100 years.
