Harvard Library will be retiring its legacy proxy service (EZ Proxy) on May 31, 2026.
Harvard Library has already implemented its new proxy service, OpenAthens, where accessing library resources remotely (HarvardKey login) will be no different than it was through the EZ Proxy service.
However, if you bookmarked any links to library content using a direct EZ Proxy link, those links will need to be updated to point to the HOLLIS record. After May 31st, any EZ Proxy link will return an error message.
